Timelines refer to software implementation and deployment scope for a defined configuration. Third-party integrations, regulatory approvals, banking and card-issuer onboarding, custody and liquidity agreements, security audits and other external dependencies may require additional time.
How it works
How a crypto card system works.
A card payment funded from digital assets is decided in milliseconds — then converted, settled and reconciled across partners.
- 1UserTaps a virtual or physical card at checkout.
- 2WalletCrypto or stablecoin balance checked and reserved.
- 3Card processorAuthorisation request decided against controls.
- 4IssuerLicensed issuing partner approves on the network.
- 5MerchantPayment accepted through the card network.
- 6SettlementConversion, ledger posting and reconciliation.
Card issuance and regulated services are provided by licensed issuing and compliance partners.
Overview
Software infrastructure for crypto card programs: virtual and physical card management, wallet integration, crypto-to-fiat conversion at authorisation, spend controls, KYC/KYB integration, settlement, reporting and APIs — connected to your chosen issuing and compliance partners.
The problem
A crypto card touches three worlds at once — digital asset wallets, card networks and regulated payments. Stitching together an issuer-processor, custody, conversion, ledger and support tooling without a clear architecture leads to reconciliation gaps and slow launches.
The solution
Crypto Card Infrastructure provides the program software: card lifecycle, wallet-linked funding, real-time conversion at authorisation, controls, ledger and back-office. Actual card issuance, BIN sponsorship and regulated services are provided by qualified third-party issuing and compliance partners that you contract with.

Frequently asked questions
Can Shivacha issue cards?
No. Card issuance, BIN sponsorship and card network membership are provided by licensed issuing partners. Shivacha builds and integrates the program software around them.
How long does a crypto card launch take?
Software integration typically takes three to five weeks once an issuing partner is selected. Issuer onboarding, card network approval, compliance review and card production have separate timelines, often longer than the software work.
How is crypto converted at the point of sale?
Depending on the program design, balances are converted in real time at authorisation or pre-funded into fiat, using the liquidity or conversion provider you choose.
Which regions are supported?
Availability depends on your issuing and compliance partners' coverage. The software is region-agnostic and supports multiple currencies.
