IPFS at Shivacha
Content-addressed decentralised storage for files and metadata.
Overview
IPFS stores content by its hash, enabling verifiable, decentralised file distribution. We use IPFS with pinning services for NFT metadata, documents and frontends, with appropriate strategies for persistence.
IPFS content persists only while pinned; we plan pinning and redundancy explicitly.
Why we use it
- Content addressing
- Verifiable integrity
- Decentralised distribution
- Common NFT standard
